Been a while since I bothered posting here, since there was absolutely nothing I could do to revive the game from the state in which it was left. That has since changed, and I now have access to the means to better the game, and bring it to the state in which it was originally meant to be played.

Well, I've done a little research.....fine a lot of research and I found out something about economy in Edo. It's mostly trade....Yes trade:

First how would the system work: Well the system would work by trading crops like Rice (which Edo should have a lot of) to different areas or villages.(If they get added in) I went through some research and found out that they use something called Fudasashi Market to trade with other villages. The Shogun would use forwarding contracts to sell rice.

How else would the Economy work: Well, I saw that taxes were really high in Edo....so I had an idea the Shogun would be able to change the tax percentage to anything he wants. So if it's a corrupted Shogun he would make it really high. If it were a nice and gentle Shogun he would make it middle or low. Another thing that I saw was Edo sold artwork! We could have an art system or a crafts system and sell them in the market for yen. The last thing I saw was Edo sold timber in the market. This would be pretty easy to make since we can already cut down trees.
