Let's see how long this lasts. | Tue Oct 06, 2015 10:29 am by Misuke | Hey all!
Been a while since I bothered posting here, since there was absolutely nothing I could do to revive the game from the state in which it was left. That has since changed, and I now have access to the means to better the game, and bring it to the state in which it was originally meant to be played.
I do hope regulars and newbies alike welcome the changes I plan to bring, and continue to …

Ikou Era Apology | Fri Nov 25, 2011 3:59 am by AllSmiles | Hello, faithful Ikou Era players. I am sorry for being so inactive to the production of Ikou Era, me slowing down with updates had affected all of us. I doubt, I can make it up for your patience and your unbreakable loyalty to someone that had been made by my brain. | I suggest bringing back headmasters. The reason for this is because it forces people to role play. Back when the game first started out, it was extremely hard for people to get their hands on Katana. So, people were forced to role play with their headmasters and be role played taught how to hold a blade, how to swing, etc.(The foundations of it all). Once the headmaster thought their students were worthy and have done enough, they were given a Katana as a reward.
For them having to role play how to use a Katana and being taught by someone trained is a lot more realistic than someone randomly creating a style and putting all 9 points into Katana ,and saying they know how to hold a blade in the right position. It took samurais years training with the blade, and not 1 day to spam A to train to become the best.
tl;dr Bring back headmasters because it forces players to rp and actually learn, instead of spamming A to train without any rping involved.

| Sounds interesting, yet remember people still has the right to hold a blade, maybe rping as being undisciplined in any man known style or either having no idea to hold one by simply swinging it.
I would say it depends more on the playerbase if rp is held or not. IE being full of competitive players makes it hard.

Putting in pre-set styles isn't that big.

If this was put back in, then what would we have accomplished, sir? Although I agree with you on every single aspect, there is only one arguement I can hold up with you. The new "stupid" playerbase, as I like to call them, would instantly scream, "You're restricting our RP ahnjesaklhdjals". Players used to having it all would cry. Ultimately it's the big-wigs decisions.

Let 'em cry. I mean, if they keep cryin' they're going to have to adapt or simply leave. And besides, the Ikou Era Community needs some revamping.
