I believe this was suggested earlier when the game was in Alpha stage but I can't be too sure.
Basically, the idea to have pets crossed my mind once more.
Wouldn't it be cool to have a little panda follow you around, and when it grows old enough it'll become a grown-up bamboo-devouring panda? Yes, it will.

Pets will come in different varieties, from cats to dogs and from bird to turtles, you name it.
These animals would be buy-able at shops, but could also be found in the wilds. For example, a panda would be able to be found in a forest with bamboo in it. Any pet can be tamed with the food they eat, bamboo for pandas, fish for turtles, etc.

Opinions/suggestions?

Whatever the case, I think it would be interesting to have a pet. Although, it would be extremely stupid to be walking around in Feudal Japan and see a Pet Shop.

I may just have them as a npc walking around edo or other villages.

Traveling pet salesmen.....Will we have a traveling mask salesmen?

Yeah, a pet shop would indeed be kind of strange, like said above, Wandering Pet Vendors would be surrounded by animals that they want to sell. Very Happy
